1970's Terry de Havilland Stardust Heels - UK 4
The one and only ‘Rock n Roll cobbler of the 1970s’ - Terry de Havilland black and silver sparkle ‘Stardust’ heels from the early seventies. Still shining and ready for party season!
Labelled as a UK size 4.5.
They have been tried on size 4 feet and fit like a modern 4, being reported that they felt comfortable and secure to wear, despite the wear in some areas. Suitable for feet that are slightly wider than the other narrow styles. The open toe adds extra allowance and comfort.
Please check the below measurements:
Heel height: 4.5 inches
Platform height: 1.5cm
Widest part of foot: 13.5cm approximately (measuring over the curve of the shoe)
Length of shoe from heel to toe on table: 19cm
Insole length taken inside shoe: 23cm
These shoes are 50 years old and have been kept in storage for many of those years. They are in a great condition, with slight wear to the heel and soles as expected. The straps and leather are quite worn, particularly the right shoe. Please examine all photos.
Vintage footwear can be tricky! However we are unable to offer a refund. Please ensure you are confident they will fit, and send us a message if you’d like any further information, or to arrange to try on if you are North/ East London based.
