We take measurements with the garment laying flat, and double them.

We also give a modern day size as a guide.

1. Bust: we try to give an approximate measurement of the bust if design requires the extra information, i.e. dart shaping or non stretch fabric

2. Underarm

3. Waist: measuring at the smallest part

4. Hips: measures 20cm below the waist

5. Length: from shoulder to hem unless stated otherwise in description

Any additional measurements may be stated in the listing if necessary.
